  • You are already qualified and want a new treatment: a CPD course is the quicker route.

Choosing a course

Which course should I start with?
Complete beginners usually start with the ProQual Level 3 Diploma in Pathway to Aesthetic Practice, or the two-day Pathway to Aesthetics if they want hands-on experience quickly. Experienced practitioners can often join at Level 4, 5 or 6, depending on what they already hold.
What is the difference between ProQual, CPD and ABT courses?
ProQual diplomas are Ofqual-regulated qualifications with portfolio assessment and set entry requirements. CPD and ABT-accredited courses are shorter, focused courses for adding a treatment or keeping your skills current. They are useful, but they are not regulated qualifications.
Which course leads to Level 7?
A ProQual Level 5 or 6 Diploma in Aesthetic Practice, plus a Level 6 qualification covering anatomy and professional practice and valid Level 3 first aid. Registered nurses and doctors can join Level 7 directly.
Where are the courses held?
All practical training takes place at City Hair & Beauty Academy in Wood Green, London.
