Thinking about starting your aesthetics or beauty training in London? Here are answers to the questions we hear most — covering our ProQual, CPD and ABT courses, entry requirements, and how our training works.
Yes. Our ProQual diplomas are awarded by ProQual, an Ofqual-regulated awarding organisation, so they’re nationally recognised. We also offer CPD-accredited and ABT-accredited courses.
ProQual is an Ofqual-regulated awarding body in the UK. A ProQual qualification carries real weight with employers, clients and insurers because it meets recognised national standards — unlike unregulated courses.
ProQual Level 3–7 diplomas are regulated qualifications with formal assessment. CPD and ABT-accredited courses are shorter, accredited courses ideal for adding a specific treatment or maintaining professional development. Many students combine both.
Broadly, a certificate covers a focused area of learning, while a diploma is larger and more in-depth, covering a fuller range of skills and knowledge at that level. We’ll explain exactly what each of your chosen courses includes.
Absolutely. Many of our entry-level Level 3 and CPD courses are designed for beginners with no prior experience, giving you a solid foundation to build a career in beauty and aesthetics.
It depends on your experience and goals. Levels 3 and 4 suit beginners and those building foundational knowledge; Levels 5 and 6 move into clinical treatments like microneedling and peels; Level 7 is the highest, covering advanced injectables. Our team can help you choose.
For entry-level courses, no prior experience is needed. Higher levels build on earlier ones — for example, Level 7 is for medical professionals or those holding a relevant Level 6 qualification. Contact us and we’ll confirm the requirements for your course.
The Level 7 Diploma (anti-wrinkle injections and dermal fillers) is aimed at medical professionals or experienced practitioners who meet the entry requirements. If you’re unsure whether you qualify, get in touch and we’ll guide you.
It’s our most advanced qualification, covering advanced facial anatomy, consultation and treatment planning, anti-wrinkle and dermal filler procedures, complications management and patient safety — everything needed to practise at an advanced clinical level.
Yes. Our courses are designed as a clear progression pathway, so you can advance step by step — from foundational levels right through to advanced clinical qualifications — as your skills and confidence grow.
Most courses combine flexible guided theory with in-person practical training days at our London academy, where you practise hands-on under expert supervision. This blended approach fits around work and life.
The theory elements of many courses can be completed online or through guided learning, but practical training is delivered in person — because hands-on skills can only be developed and assessed face to face.
Yes. Hands-on practice on live models is a core part of our training, so you graduate with real, supervised experience rather than theory alone.
This varies by course — some include kit and models, while others may ask you to bring a model. We’ll let you know exactly what’s provided and what to bring when you enrol.
It varies by level. Shorter CPD courses can be completed in a day or a few days, while ProQual diplomas take longer depending on the practical and assessment requirements. We’ll give you the exact schedule for your course.
We keep our groups small so every student gets close, personal attention and plenty of supervised practice time — which is essential for mastering treatments safely and confidently.
Ofqual-regulated and accredited qualifications are widely recognised by insurance providers, so qualifying with us supports your ability to obtain treatment insurance. We recommend confirming specific cover with your insurer for the treatments you plan to offer.
Our qualifications open doors to working in salons and clinics, joining an aesthetics practice, going mobile, or building your own business — with higher-level diplomas leading to more advanced, higher-earning treatments.
Our practical training takes place at our academy in London, with students travelling in from across London and the wider UK for hands-on training days.
Simply get in touch via our contact page, phone or email and tell us which course interests you — we’ll guide you through entry requirements, dates and enrolment. We also offer flexible payment options to help spread the cost.
