ABT or a regulated diploma?

ABT-accredited courses are the quickest way to train and get insured in a beauty treatment. Regulated diplomas are Ofqual-regulated qualifications and are the route to advanced aesthetics, up to the Level 7 Diploma in Aesthetic Practice.

What is ABT?
ABT (Associated Beauty Therapists) is a UK accreditation and insurance body for the hair and beauty industry. An ABT-accredited certificate is designed to help you take out professional insurance for the treatment you trained in.
Can I get certified without doing the course?
If you already have the practical skills, our ABT certification service verifies your existing knowledge and competence and issues an accredited certificate. It suits self-taught practitioners and people trained abroad who need a UK-recognised certificate.
Are ABT courses regulated qualifications?
No. ABT accreditation is an industry accreditation, not an Ofqual-regulated qualification. For a regulated route in aesthetics, see our Level 3 to Level 7 pathway.
What is included?
Hands-on training, all training products and consumables on the day, a certificate on completion and support from our tutors after you qualify.
How big are the classes?
Places are limited per session so tutors can give one-to-one attention. Group sizes are confirmed when you enquire.
