Questions

Beginner aesthetics FAQs

Can I start aesthetics with no experience?
Yes. The regulated way in is the ProQual Level 3 Diploma in Pathway to Aesthetic Practice, which has no formal entry requirements. For hands-on experience quickly, our two-day Pathway to Aesthetics CPD programme is the most comprehensive option.
What is included in Pathway to Aesthetics?
Manuals, a certificate, models, products to practise with and products for your model, a free complication kit, an introduction to a prescriber and after-support.
How much does it cost?
Pathway to Aesthetics is from £1,599 for two full training days.
Is Pathway to Aesthetics a regulated qualification?
No. It is a CPD-accredited programme. If you want an Ofqual-regulated qualification, start the ProQual pathway at Level 3.
Do I need a prescriber for the injectables?
Botulinum toxin is a prescription-only medicine, so yes. The programme includes pairing with a prescriber.
