Is two days enough to start injecting clients?
Two days gives you supervised, hands-on experience and a CPD certificate. Confidence comes from practice, and you can go on to the regulated ProQual pathway as well. We will be straight with you about what you are ready for.
Your first steps into aesthetics
Decide on your goal
Injectables, advanced skin treatments or both? Your goal decides your route.
Get first aid in place
A valid Level 3 first-aid qualification is part of the entry requirements for the higher ProQual diplomas. See our first aid course.
Start at the right level
Level 3 has no formal entry requirements, while CPD foundation courses teach one treatment at a time.
Progress
Move up through Level 4, 5 and 6 towards the Level 7 Diploma if injectables are your goal.
Mistakes beginners often make
Buying an unregulated “Level 7”
Check the awarding body and qualification number on the Ofqual register before you pay. Our guide shows you how to check a course.
Skipping first aid
The higher diplomas ask for valid Level 3 first aid, so it is worth sorting early.
Underestimating practice
Confidence comes from supervised treatments on live models, not theory alone.
Forgetting the prescriber
Botulinum toxin is a prescription-only medicine, so non-prescribers need to work with a prescriber.
